WHO WE ARE

Community First

Abayuuti Climate Action Network is a youth-led non-governmental organization (NGO) founded in June 2020 by Crispus Mwemaho and Ivan Rwomukitoma. Initially established as a Community-Based Organization (CBO), Abayuuti has evolved into a national organization with a significant impact across Uganda.

Today, Abayuuti operates in three districts - Kampala, Kasese, and Fort Portal - impacting thousands of lives through its diverse programs.

Our mission is to empower climate-vulnerable communities through a holistic approach focusing on sustainable livelihoods, education, capacity building, and advocacy. With programs focused on sustainable livelihoods, education, policy and advocacy, and capacity building, we create projects to support the communities in need.
